A Russian Nikolai Zyablikov sued his girlfriend who he claims to
have been dating for four years to court after their break up. In the
suit, he demanded that all the money he had spent on her should be
returned
. The amount is about $600(N180,000).
But the court rejected his case, probably because it saw as not
fit for any legal judgement. Nikolai claimed he had been dating his ex
Nina Zgurskaya, a banker for almost four years. He also claimed he
met her while holidaying on a beach in Crimea and added that she
didn't want to pay for her bills when they got back to Siberia after
the holiday.
But the banker said she had been expecting a marriage proposal
from Nikolai but she hadn't gotten any, and that they both decided to
break up. As evidence and backup, Nikolai has brought forward all
receipts of purchases he made during the relationship, including for
expenses like coffee and cinema.
The judge, decided against an appeal from the lady, but her
mother has confirmed that they were not just friends but more of a
couple.
My own is, if the guy was truly interested in the girl, why didn't
he propose to her, rather than keep her hanging. And now the girl
feels he's not serious and wants to leave he wants his money back. His
mother did not teach him that money spent on a woman is not
refundable. Mtchewww!
