Earlier today, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
posted a video of a house worth about $18m and belonging to former
minister for petroleum Dieziani Alison Madueke.
The video and interview since then has gone viral. But in an exclusive
report, Dieziani has moved to counter the report. In a statement sent
exclusively to signalng.com. Dieziani berated the EFCC and aljeezra,
describing the report as "representing everything ridiculous and
despicable about professional media practices and global best
practices in the war against corruption"
She said her image had been "demonised" and her reputation
smeared on a regular basis, but nothing like this ever before. She
also accused the EFCC and Aljeezra as people who just wanted to "dress
her in the garb of a common criminal"
